Lodge was opened with W.Bro.Gary Munce in the Chair. As part of the business of the evening an application for initiation into Brotherhood Lodge was received from Michael Paul Govier and the investigating committee was appointed.
Following a short business meeting the visitors of the evening were received.
There were 97 visitors registered.
The visitors were presented in four groups, first general visitors, second the Masters of the District, third the Grand Lodge Officers including M.W.Bro. David Bradley, Grand Master, R.W.Bro.Norman Byrne, Deputy Grand Master, R.W.Bro. John Neu D.D.G.M.,and ten other Grand Lodge Officers.
The lodge was called from Labour to refreshment at 8:45 p.m. and the fourth group of visitors admitted being Mrs. Helen Snider wife of Bro. Leonard Snider and Miss Cheryl Taylor, future daughter -in-law of Bro.Snider.
M.W.Bro. Bradley outlined the origin of the William Mercer Wilson Award and presented this award to Brother Leonard Snider.
Lodge resumed at 9:25 p.m. and closed in harmony at 9:55 p.m.
